African immigrants communities in the US, Canada and Europe are still confronted with lots of struggles when a love one passes away. Most of the time they have no insurance to cover the cost of funerals and repatriation. Countries representations have no budget dedicated tolife events. Therefore, communities are reduced to traditional funds raising methods with no transparency, where anyone can raise funds but at the end they isn’t always enough to cover the cost of repatriation and nothing is left to support the family.
